This is a recipe adequate for persons suffering from type 2-diabetes

for 4 fruit kebabs cooked on a plancha :

  1. 12 small clean strawberries
  2. 2 bananas not fully ripe
  3. 4 firm apricots
  4. 1 nice peeled mango not too much ripe
  5. 1 peeled and lemoned Granny Smith apple
  6. 1 peeled and cooked red beetroot
  7. 12 black grapes
  8. 5 centiliters (2 lq oz) grape seed oil
  9. 70 grams (2.5 oz) sesame seeds
  10. 1 spurt of Grand Marnier (orange liquour) if no children

Progression

1/pre-heat your plancha at 1/4 of its full power
2/cut all the fruit and the beetroot in 1.5 inch large cubes/dice long and insert and fit them in between onto skewers looking for taste harmony (apricot/beetroot/apple for instance)
3/pour the grape seed oil into one small dish and the sesame seeds into an other small dish
4/put your kebabs on each side onto the oil then onto the sesame seeds so that tey stick on the fruit
5/lay the kebabs on another dish and keep it into the freezer during 10 minutes
6/cook the m on the heated plancha during 5 minutes on each side and serve them on nices presentation dishes ; pour a psurt of Grand Marnier on each of them.

In addition to offer orignal kebabsd to your guests (beetroot treated as a fruit) but, surrefing from diabetes or not, they will love it !
